Queer Resilience and Empowerment” a Google Classroom

A LGBTQ+ Google Classroom experience, “Queer Resilience and Empowerment,” has been created by Jamie Cutter for queer, trans, and allied youth to remain engaged with their peers and community during the school closures.

The classroom will be posting lessons about:

  • Self-care
  • Mental health
  • Queer theory
  • Queer history
  • Poetry
  • Art

As well as:

  • Activities
  • Fun videos
  • Memes
  • Cute animal pics
  • and other healthy distractions

The Diversity Center Youth Program, Santa Cruz County

The youth program at TDC provides supportive, educational and social activities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTIQ) youth.

The Epicenter Presents: “Sharing Circle” Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday @ 7 pm – 8 pm, Virtual Meeting

Developed from the concept of peer social support, our Sharing Circle is designed to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to express themselves candidly about identity, relationships, and more!

All respectful community members are welcome to participate, but please keep in mind that this service is intended for youth ages 16-24, and their participation will be prioritized.
