The Diversity Center is proud to support local youth, Madeline Aliah, launch her debut chapbook of poems. This Is My Body: Poems by a Teen Trans Fem covers Maddie’s journey from gender dysphoria to empowerment as she “womanifests” her authentic self!
These poems cover Maddie’s period of questioning and finding herself, aged 14 – 17. Now 18, Maddie attends Cypress High School and holds a seat on the Queer Trans Youth Council.
