In lieu of this week’s “Queer Youth Meet-Up” at The Diversity Center, the youth program will be going to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for a few hours of fun and games! The group will meet at the ticket booth in front of Neptune's Kingdom. Tickets are limited for youth, and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. “California this year became the first state with a law spelling out the transgender student rights in public schools, including the ability to use restrooms and to play on sports teams that match their expressed genders.
