Why does voting matter? Every year elected officials are passing legislation that harms LGBTQIA+ people. Vote for politicians that will protect your rights! Voting in local elections is important, too–local measures and elected officials can make positive change in your community.
Not sure who or what to vote for? Consider talking to your family and friends about this years’ candidates, measures, and propositions. Or, read up on who an organization you trust is endorsing. You can also read up on all the Santa Cruz County measures here.
Voting is one of the most important actions you can take to change the course of history. Encourage your friends and family to vote this election day!
