February events include lots of storytelling, community actions, and intentionally intersectional programs! Youth are invited to join us every Saturday afternoon for the Queer Youth Meet Up, where we’re having a blast with queer activist PowerPoint parties, a safety & security online workshop, our annual Palentines celebration, and some political organizing where we get you the tools to fight for what you believe in. At Felton SAGA, we’re diving into BlackxQueer cowboy culture. It’s history, sure, but it’s also BEDAZZLING.You’re also invited to get more involved with the Neurodiverse Youth Meet Ups, every 2nd and 4th Friday at 4 pm!
All ages are invited to participate in this month’s Community Cooking Show, and orders for groceries and prepared meals are open. For parents, guardians, young adults, and everyone else no longer high school aged, we’d love to welcome you to the Community Meet Up on the 2nd Saturday of the month, at 3 pm, plus two Queer Movie Mondays. These FREE events and more are taking place at CA Film & Cultural Center, with cameos at Santa Cruz Public Libraries and The Neighbor’s.
