(2) YES Workshop Proposals, Due October 24, Noon
This is a great opportunity for local youth to present a workshop at a regional conference — the Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) on Saturday, Nov 19th — it is very empowering experience. The GSA Network NorCal Youth Council has expressed a particular interest in the following topics:
- queer dating
- healthy relationships
- self care for trans and queer folks
- using art as activism
- body positivity
- racism and colorism in the LGBTQ+ community
- being trans/queer in the professions
- racial justice
- queer movement history
- sex-positive sex education
- trans/queer college experience.
