QYLA is a Santa Cruz County wide annual award ceremony that recognizes, honors, and celebrates our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer youth as well as their Allies. This years event will be Saturday May 10th and will have awards, speakers, and talent, in front of around 300 people. The event is recorded and broadcast on Community Television. The QYLA is looking for youth to either be the MC or perform at this event.
There are openings for one MC and three Talent performances. Talent can include spoken word, musical performances, dancing, singing, or something else creative that is 2 to 3 minutes long.
