The Safe Schools Project is proud to announce three (3) summits for LGBTQIA2S+ & Allied students and their families, caregivers, educators, and adult allies — all at the same location, day, and time!
- For teens: Queer, Trans, & Allied Student Summit of the Central Coast — Fall 2024
- For adults: Parents/Guardians, Educators, and Adult Allies “Understanding Gender” Workshop — Fall 2024
- For elementary students and their families: Glitter Kids Camp — Fall 2024
When: Saturday, September 28, 2024 @ 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Call for LGBTQIA2S+ Youth Planning Committee: Fall 2024 Queer, Trans, and Allied Student Summit of the Central Coast
Students and community members under 18 are welcome to join our student planning committee! Open to all currently enrolled high school and middle school students located in Santa Cruz, San Benito, or Monterey County. Internships Available
Main Objectives:
- choose the summit theme
- obtain input on goodie bags
- organize workshops for students
- choose a keynote speaker
- and more!
Time Commitment:
- February-April, part of the Summer, and August – October
- 1 hour a week
