“An Evening of Dreams” brings José Antonio Vargas, a LGBT Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and award-winning director/producer of “Documented” and UCSC Dreamweavers together to raise funds for scholarships that support over 400 Dream Act/undocumented immigrant students at UCSC.
When: Friday, March 6th 2015 @ 5pm – 7pm
Where: Peace United Church of Christ’s Fellowship Hall, 900 High St, Santa Cruz, CA
Cost: Middle and High school aged students can RSVP with Mary Male at mmale@baymoon.com to attend this event for FREE. Otherwise, $150 suggested donation.

2015 Watsonville Film Festival Features “Documented”, Mar 7
“Documented” chronicles Jose Antonio Vargas’s journey to America from the Philippines as a child; his journey through America as an immigration reform activist/provocateur; and his journey inward as he re-connects with his mother, whom he hasn’t seen in person in 20 years. After the film there will be a special Q&A with director Jose Antonio Vargas. Event co-sponsored by UCSC Dreamweavers.
