The Queer Youth Task Force is proud to be part of Santa Cruz Gives Holiday Campaign 2024. With the help of Santa Cruz Gives, we are fundraising for our Trans Teen Visibility Campaign.
Our big idea for 2024 is to support trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive teens in Santa Cruz County to control their own narratives and share stories and experiences that are important to them. We will do this through promoting existing resources available for the trans community on our website, making short documentary films, implementing teens-led small projects, promoting an activity titled “Unbox Me,” and hosting radio shows.
Please help us raise funds to hire a part-time coordinator to keep the site updated and work with partners such as Santa Cruz Trans, TransFamilies, and Big Brothers Big Sisters to support Trans teens in Santa Cruz county; provide honorariums to trans youth for internships; and pay student filmmakers for our documentary.
We are humbly asking for your donation to the Queer Youth Task Force Santa Cruz Gives Holiday Campaign 2024, and that you share our campaign with friends and family. Even a $5 donation will help show the community how important our work is, and every donation will help us reach our fundraising goals for this important project. The fundraiser ends December 31st.
