“…To me, the most beautiful part of our acronym is the “+” in LGBTQ+; it reminds us to always strive to add and be more inclusive in our fight for equal rights. Our existence challenges the oppressive structures of patriarchal heteronormativity.
We are a diverse and intersectional community by our very nature. We redefine gender expression, gender identities, and intimate relationships to be far more inclusive. We re-educate folks on the long world history of our community. And, we are fighting so everyone can live as authentically as they truly are.
