In celebration of Pride Month, the MAH is excited to announce the launch of our Queerstory Self-Guided Walking Tour!
The walking tour pamphlets are now available for our community members to pick up at the museum’s front desk. The tour highlights pivotal locations in the history of the local LGBTQIA+ community. The brochure serves as a personal guide through the streets of downtown, offering a flexible and accessible way to engage with these important local narratives at an individual pace.

Volunteer at the MAH
Interested in getting involved as a volunteer to support specific events and ongoing museum operations: Visit our website here!
- Special Events: Help out with unique community events like Davenport Day or the Black Tie Roller Ball
- Gallery Attendants: Assist museum visitors, answer questions about exhibitions, and monitor the galleries.
- Outreach & Tabling: Spread the word about the MAH by tabling at local festivals and distributing promotional materials to local businesses.
- Evergreen Cemetery Maintenance: Join weekly Friday morning sessions to help with basic gardening and grounds upkeep at one of California’s oldest public cemeteries.
