” ‘It’s Overdue’: Two-Spirit Elder D’Santi Nava Is Ready for a Revolution” – them
“What I love about the younger generation is they’re getting involved. They’re more active in politics. They’re more about advocating…So to see them turn it around and embrace it, I love it. I think that’s one of the best pieces of advice that I learned from them. If someone wants to put a label on you, embrace it. Name it, claim it, and be who you are. I’m glad that they’re embracing it. I’m glad they’re speaking up. I’m glad they’re getting involved. If we have a revolution, I’ll go stand with them. Let’s do it. It’s overdue. I’m proud of them.”
