Sarananda is entering her senior year at the University of California, Santa Cruz and plans to graduate with her B.A. in Psychology Spring 2013. During her senior year at Harbor High School she was an intern for the Queer Youth Task Force (QYTF). In Spring 2008 she received a Queer Youth Leadership Award and was the recipient of an E-quality Scholarship. This summer Sarananda has been working with the QYTF as an intern, and hopes this newsletter will allow LGBTQI events, peer groups, news, and activism opportunities more accessible to Santa Cruz youth.
