Statewide Campaign Committee – Apply by August 31, 2025
The Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) Network of California is excited to launch applications for the 2025–2026 Statewide Campaign Committee, a virtual leadership development program for Trans, Queer, and Two-Spirit (TQ2S+) youth; Black, Indigenous, and youth of color; and allies, ages 13 to 17 who live in and attend school in California.
From September 2025 to May 2026, youth leaders will:
- Organize for safer, more inclusive schools
- Lead local and statewide campaigns
- Support GSA chapters
- Build skills in advocacy, storytelling, and coalition-building
- Receive mentorship and 1:1 support from GSA Network staff
- Earn up to $300 every three months as an educational award for their contributions
- Meet monthly on the Second Wednesday from 5pm-7pm
This is a chance for youth to make change in their schools and join a powerful statewide movement for justice.

Who Should Apply? Young people in California who:
- Are 13–17 years old
- Identify as TQ2S+, Black, Indigenous, youth of color, or allies
- Are passionate about campaigns, youth leadership, organizing, and making schools better for everyone

Join us for August’s membership meeting, where we will be welcoming returning and new members and share our program offerings for the year. You will connect with GSA members from across California and leave motivated to make change!
