As we prepare to announce details for YES taking place in San Francisco on Nov 21, we wanted to offer another exciting opportunity for a few students.
The Queer Youth Task Force is proud to announce the launch of the 2016 Creating Change Youth Delegate Project. The project aims to bring 2-4 Queer youth leaders to the Creating Change conference in Chicago, Illinois from January 20-24th (https://www.
The Creating Change conference is the largest annual gathering of LGBT activists, organizers, and leaders in the United States. While this is not a youth focused conference, past youth participants have testified to the power of hearing from national leaders in the LGBT community and the influence that has had on their local activism.
You can access the application via the Queer Youth Task Force website (see link below). We expect a competitive pool of applicants so please give yourself plenty of time to review and complete the application process and extend your best effort. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, Oct. 21st by 8 pm.

The project is being sponsored by Pajrao Valley Unified School District but youth throughout Santa Cruz county are eligible to apply.
