What is ‘Subjects to Change’?
“Subjects to Change is a program geared for teenagers who want to make a difference in Santa Cruz county by raising awareness of community issues through collaborative arts and cultural experiences. This program focuses on exploring what it means to be an active community member, how as a community member you can create change, and the tools necessary to ignite leadership.”
Interested in Getting Involved?
Subjects to Change are looking for teens ages 12 – 17, who are available Thursday evening once a week. As a participant in the program you would meet with other students in Santa Cruz County, build leadership skills, participate in team building exercises, listen to an occasional community guest speaker, work on other projects within the community, and document your daily experiences to assist in identifying key issues in our greater community.
Applications are DUE Monday, August 18th by 9:00pm!
