Hi Santa Cruz County folks! I'd love to introduce you to GSA Network's new Northern California Program Coordinator, Courtney Mummert.  Courtney is excited to get connected to community partners and continue the successful collaborations we have built. Out in Santa Cruz Radio Internship

Did you know that KSCO AM 1080 now has a queer radio show? This is huge for Santa Cruz! Out in Santa Cruz is a local show hosted by our very own professional queers, Steph Taylor and Shaun Ordinario. Out in Santa Cruz is in need of a communications intern to help with research, scheduling, and assist with needs during the show. The show is on Saturday nights from 7-8pm. Youth Empowerment Summit 2011


The Queer Youth Task Force worked with students from seven Gay-Straight Alliance student clubs and their advisers, administrators from Santa Cruz City Schools (Eileen Brown) and Pajaro Valley Unified School District (Murry Schekman) and community member Mike Dively to send 81 students from Santa Cruz County to the Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) in San Francisco on December 10th via two chartered buses.
